Section 511.017 - Duties Related to State Jail Felony Facilities(a) In this section: (1) "State jail division" means the state jail division of the Texas Department of Criminal Justice.(2) "State jail felony facility" means a state jail felony facility authorized by Subchapter A, Chapter 507.(3) Repealed by Acts 2021, 87th Leg., R.S., Ch. 126 (H.B. 719), Sec. 9(3), eff. September 1, 2021.(b) The commission shall provide the state jail division with consultation and technical assistance relating to the operation and construction of state jail felony facilities.Tex.
