Section 433.006 - Violations(a) A person who violates this chapter or a directive issued under this chapter commits an offense. An offense under this subsection is a misdemeanor punishable by a fine of not more than $200, confinement for not more than 60 days, or both.(b) A temporary restraining order or temporary or permanent injunction may be issued to prevent violation of this chapter or a directive issued under this chapter as provided by the Texas Rules of Civil Procedure and applicable law.(c) The governor may institute an action under this section in any court of competent jurisdiction in the state.Tex.
