Section 547.0352 - [Effective 4/1/2025] Matching Grant Program

The commission shall establish a matching grant program to provide grants to county-based community collaboratives to reduce:

(1) recidivism by, the frequency of arrests of, and incarceration of individuals with mental illness; and

(2) the total wait time for forensic commitment of individuals with mental illness to a state hospital. (Gov. Code, Sec. 531.0993(a).)
