Section 546.0153 - [Effective 4/1/2025] Area Agencies On Aging: Minimum Number

The executive commissioner shall assure the maintenance of no fewer than 28 area agencies on aging in order to assure the continuation of a local system of access and assistance that is sensitive to the aging population. (Gov. Code, Sec. 531.02481(e).)
