Section 51.202 - Clerk Pro Tempore; Deputy Clerk(a) A court of appeals, when necessary, may appoint a clerk pro tempore.(b) With the approval of the court, the clerk may appoint deputy clerks as provided by legislative appropriation. A deputy clerk must give a bond to the clerk, conditioned on the faithful performance of the duties of office.Tex. Gov't. Code § 51.202
