Section 41.301 - Definitions In this subchapter:
(1) "Board of directors" means the board of directors of the unit.(2) Repealed by Acts 2015, 84th Leg., R.S., Ch. 734 , Sec. 149, eff. September 1, 2015.(3) "Department" means the Texas Department of Criminal Justice.(4) "Executive board" means the executive board governing the board of directors of the unit.(5) "Prosecuting attorney" means a district attorney, a criminal district attorney, or a county attorney representing the state in criminal matters before the district or inferior courts of the county.(6) "Unit" means the special prosecution unit.Tex.
