Section 2254.032 - Conflicts of Interest(a) An officer or employee of a state agency shall report to the chief executive of the agency, not later than the 10th day after the date on which a private consultant submits an offer to provide consulting services to the agency, any financial interest that:(1) the officer or employee has in the private consultant who submitted the offer; or(2) an individual who is related to the officer or employee within the second degree by consanguinity or affinity, as determined under Chapter 573, has in the private consultant who submitted the offer.(b) This section applies to all consulting services contracts and renewals, amendments, and extensions of consulting services contracts.Tex.
