Section 371.066 - Temporary License(a) The commissioner may issue a temporary pawnshop license on receipt of an application:(1) to transfer a license from one person to another; or(2) for a license involving principals and owners that are substantially identical to those of a pawnshop in operation at the time of receipt of the application.(b) A temporary license is effective until a permanent license is issued or denied.Amended by Acts 1999, 76th Leg., ch. 801, Sec. 3, eff. 9/1/1999.
