Section 154.409 - Suit By Attorney General(a) The department may notify the attorney general of a violation of this chapter.(b) The attorney general shall institute suit in the name of this state against a person who violates this chapter in a district court in Travis County or the county in which the violation occurred.Amended by Acts 2013, 83rd Leg. - Regular Session, ch. 39,Sec. 10, eff. 9/1/2013.
