Section 130.031 - Establishment of Union, County, or Joint-County Junior College The following types of junior colleges may be established in the following units:
(1) a union junior college district may be established by two or more contiguous independent school districts or two or more contiguous common school districts or a combination composed of one or more independent school districts with one or more common school districts of contiguous territory meeting the requirements set out in Section 130.032 of this code;(2) a county junior college district may be established by any county meeting the requirements set out in Section 130.032 of this code; and(3) a joint-county junior college district may be established by any combination of contiguous counties in the state meeting the requirements set out in Section 130.032 of this code.Tex.
