Section 62.141 - [See Note] Purpose The purpose of this subchapter is to allocate appropriations from the Texas University Fund to provide a dedicated, independent, and equitable source of funding to enable certain general academic teaching institutions to achieve national prominence as major research universities and drive the state economy.
