Section 61.704 - Eligible Loans(a) The board may provide repayment assistance for the repayment of any student loan for education at a public or private institution of higher education, including loans for undergraduate and graduate education, received by a person through any lender.(b) The board may not provide repayment assistance for a student loan that is in default at the time of the person's application.Amended by Acts 1999, 76th Leg., ch. 1590, Sec. 10, eff. 6/19/1999.Added by Acts 1989, 71st Leg., ch. 1084, Sec. 1.30, eff. 9/1/1989.
