Section 21.064 - Legacy Master Teacher Certifications(a) The board shall recognize a master teacher certificate issued under former Section 21.0481, 21.0482, 21.0483, or 21.0484 until the certificate expires. The board shall note a designation of "legacy" on the certificate.(b) A master teacher certificate described by Subsection (a) is not eligible for funding under the teacher incentive allotment under Section 48.112.Added by Acts 2019, Texas Acts of the 86th Leg.- Regular Session, ch. 943,Sec. 2.006, eff. 9/1/2019, op. beginning with the 2019-2020 school year.
