Section 55A.004 - [Effective 1/1/2025] Pardon For Reason Other Than Actual Innocence

A person to whom this subchapter applies is entitled to have all records and files relating to the arrest expunged if the person is:

(1) tried for and convicted of the offense for which the person was arrested; and
(2) subsequently pardoned for that offense for a reason other than that described by Article 55A.003. (Code Crim. Proc., Art. 55.01(a) (part).)
