Section 68-120-122 - Installation of carbon monoxide alarms in child care agencies - Penalties for violation(a) Each child care agency, as defined in § 71-3-501, in this state shall have installed in each room of the child care agency where care is provided to children a carbon monoxide alarm that is listed according to the International Building Code and International Fire Code for the purpose of carbon monoxide detection.(b)(1) A violation of this section is a Class C misdemeanor. Each day on which a violation continues constitutes a separate offense under this section.(2) Section 68-120-106 applies with respect to the enforcement of this section.Added by 2024 Tenn.
