Section 55-7-204 - Buses - Length limitations - Trailers on school buses prohibited(a) A bus with a length of not more than forty-five feet (45') may be operated on a highway of this state.(b)(1) No bus with a trailer attached, the total length of which combination, including any part of the body or load, exceeds sixty-five feet (65') shall be operated on any highway.(2) No school bus as defined in § 55-8-101 transporting children to or from school or for extracurricular activities shall be operated on any highway with a trailer attached.Acts 1953, ch. 32, § 1 (Williams, § 2710.5); T.C.A.
