Section 50-1-506 - Injunction against person who commits harassment against state employee(a) The state may, through the office of the attorney general, seek an injunction against a person who commits harassment against a state employee. The injunction may be sought in any court of competent jurisdiction having the power to grant injunctions. This section does not authorize any cause of action unrelated to a person's status as a state employee. This section does not authorize a court to issue an injunction prohibiting activities that are protected by the constitutions of this state or the United States, including, but not limited to, political speech.(b) Notwithstanding § 50-1-502, as used in this section, "state employee" has the same meaning as defined in § 8-42-101.
