Section 29-10-103 - Enforcement of chapter(a) The attorney general and reporter shall have the authority to enforce this chapter and conduct civil investigations and bring civil actions, as provided in § 8-6-109; title 8, chapter 6, part 4; and §§ 47-18-106 and 47-18-108.(b) In an action brought by the attorney general under this chapter, the court may award or impose any relief available under § 29-10-104 or title 47, chapter 18.(c) In addition to the relief provided for in § 29-10-104, upon a motion by the attorney general and reporter and a finding by the court that there is a reasonable likelihood that a person violated § 29-10-102, the court may require the person to post a bond in an amount equal to a good faith estimate of the costs to litigate a claim and amounts reasonably likely to be recovered if an action were to be brought pursuant to this section. A hearing shall be held if either party requests a hearing. Acts 2014 , ch. 879, § 1.
