Section 16-2-101 - Grand divisions - Appeals from Marion County(a) For the administration of justice in the supreme court, the court of appeals and the court of criminal appeals, the state is divided into the three (3) grand divisions described in §§ 4-1-201 - 4-1-204.(b) All appeals, writs of error and appeals in the nature of a writ of error from the chancery and circuit courts of Marion County shall be granted to and heard by the supreme court, the court of appeals and the court of criminal appeals, within their respective jurisdictions, sitting at Nashville.Code 1858, § 100 (deriv.
