Section 1-8-2 - Records and great seal in custody of secretary The secretary of state is charged with the custody of:
(1) All acts and resolutions passed by the Legislature;(2) The journals of the Legislature;(3) The great seal of the state;(4) All books, records, deeds, parchments, maps, and papers required to be kept on deposit in his office pursuant to law;(5) The enrolled copy of the Constitution.
