Section 77.135.160 - Department-authorized representatives-Adoption of rules-Fee schedule(1) The department may authorize representatives to operate its inspection and decontamination stations and mandatory check stations. Department-authorized representatives may be department volunteers, other law enforcement agencies, or independent businesses.(2) The department must adopt rules governing the types of services that department-authorized representatives may perform under this chapter.(3) Department-authorized representatives must have official identification, training, and administrative capacity to fulfill their responsibilities under this section.(4) By December 1, 2018, the department must provide the legislature with recommendations for a fee schedule that department-authorized representatives may charge users whose aquatic conveyances receive inspection and decontamination services.
