Section 1727-H - Department of Labor and Industry.The following apply to appropriations to the Department of Labor and Industry:
(1) From money appropriated to the Department of Labor and Industry for industry partnerships: (i) No less than the amount allocated in the 2014-2015 fiscal year shall be allocated for a work force development program that links veterans with employment in a home rule county that was formerly a County of the Second Class A.(ii) $3,000,000 shall be distributed as grants upon recommendation from the Pennsylvania Workforce Development Board to support current and emerging work force needs.(2) Money appropriated to the Department of Labor and Industry for apprenticeships shall be distributed as grants upon recommendation of the Pennsylvania Workforce Development Board to support current and emerging work force needs.Added by P.L.
