Section 1725-F - Department of Health.The following apply:
(1) From money appropriated for general government operations, sufficient money shall be included for the coordination of donated dental services and $100,000 is included for outreach for Charcot-Marie-Tooth syndrome.(2) From money appropriated for adult cystic fibrosis and other chronic respiratory illnesses, no less than the amount used in the 2014-2015 fiscal year shall be used for a program promoting cystic fibrosis research in a county of the second class, and no less than the amount used in the 2014-2015 fiscal year shall be used for research related to childhood cystic fibrosis in a city of the first class with a hospital that is nationally accredited as a cystic fibrosis treatment center and specializes in the treatment of children.(3) Money appropriated for lupus programs shall be distributed in the same proportion as distributed in fiscal year 2014-2015.(4) Money appropriated for biotechnology research shall include allocations for regenerative medicine research, for regenerative medicine medical technology, for hepatitis and viral research, for drug research and clinical trials related to cancer, for genetic and molecular research for disease identification and eradication, for nanotechnology and for the commercialization of applied research.Added by P.L.
