Section 1763-E - Legislative Reference Bureau.The following shall apply:
(1) Notwithstanding any other provision of law to the contrary, including 62 Pa.C.S. (relating to procurement), the Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes, advance copies of statutes, volumes of the laws of Pennsylvania and other publications shall be published under contracts entered into by the Legislative Reference Bureau and disseminated as determined by the bureau. Money from sales shall be paid to the bureau or the Department of General Services, as the bureau shall determine, and that money shall be paid into the State Treasury to the credit of the General Fund. Money from sales is hereby appropriated from the General Fund to the Legislative Reference Bureau for the publication and dissemination of the Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes, advance copies of statutes, volumes of the laws of Pennsylvania and other publications and for related expenses.(2) Contingent expenses connected with the work of the bureau shall be paid on warrants of the State Treasurer in favor of the director on the presentation of the director's requisitions.(3) The director shall file an accounting of the contingent expenses, together with supporting documents whenever possible, in the office of the bureau.Added by P.L.
