Section 783.1 - Transition of government; appropriations for security and other expenses of outgoing Governor

In order to facilitate the transition of government following the inauguration of a new Governor, the General Assembly is authorized to make appropriations for the security and other expenses of the outgoing Governor for a period of time following the inauguration of the new Governor not to exceed six months. This appropriation shall be made to the Auditor General.
