All maps, drafts, reports, and other papers relating to State or turnpike roads, now remaining in the office of the Secretary of Internal Affairs, shall, as soon as practicable after the passage of this act, be transferred to the Department of Highways, which department is directed to receive and deposit the same and to preserve the same for future use.
