Section 733-1122-A - Powers and dutiesThe commission has the following powers and duties:
(1) Be the final adjudicator of every administrative proceeding which requires the appointment of a hearing officer and which is instituted by the department under any law administered by the department. An action under this paragraph is subject to 2 Pa.C.S. Chs. 5 Subch. A (relating to practice and procedure of Commonwealth agencies) and 7 Subch. A (relating to judicial review of Commonwealth agency action).(2) Perform functions authorized by the secretary.Added by P.L. 814 2012 No. 86, § 6, eff. 10/1/2012.
