Section 514-A - Report on statewide analysis of Medicaid system.(a) Report.--The department shall provide a report on the comprehensive analysis conducted under section 513-A to the General Assembly no later than December 31, 2019.(b)Recommendations.-- The report shall include recommendations on how hospitals and managed care organizations can improve efficiency and outcomes by reducing unnecessary services. The department shall align the recommendations with the department's objectives to advance high-value care, improve population health, engage and support providers and establish a sustainable Medicaid program with predictable costs.Added by P.L.
