Section 1462 - Veterans' service centers

Any city, borough, town or township may establish a veterans' service center for the purpose of assisting war veterans and their families in securing their rights, as such, in matters relating to their person, property and care of family under any of the laws of this Commonwealth and of the United States. For such purpose any such political subdivision may appropriate and expend money for the rental and equipment of space in which to conduct such service center, and may employ such persons at such compensation as may be necessary to conduct the same, and purchase supplies and other things needed therefor.
