Section 1564.1 - Applicability to Limited Liability CompaniesThis act and regulations promulgated under this act shall apply to a limited liability company as follows:
(1) The board of managers of a limited liability company shall be treated in the same manner as the board of directors of a corporation.(2) The members of a limited liability company shall be treated in the same manner as the shareholders of a corporation.(3) No limited liability company that is a health maintenance organization shall be treated differently from a corporation that is a health maintenance organization with respect to any of its liabilities.Added by P.L. 870 2014 No. 96, § 4, eff. 8/31/2014.
