Section 991.2011 - Appeal(a) The decision of the Insurance Commissioner shall be subject to appeal in accordance with 2 Pa.C.S. Ch. 7 Subch. A (relating to judicial review of Commonwealth agency action), but the court hearing an appeal shall not decline to affirm a decision on the ground that the requirements of 2 Pa.C.S. Ch. 5 Subch. A were not fulfilled.(b) Upon a determination that this article has been violated, the Insurance Commissioner may issue an order requiring the insurer to cease and desist from engaging in such violation.(c) Whenever a violator fails to comply with an order of the Insurance Commissioner to cease and desist from engaging in such violation, the Insurance Commissioner may cause an action for injunction to be filed in court regardless of whether an insurer is licensed by the Insurance Commissioner.1921, May 17, P.L. 682, No. 284, § 2011, added 1998, June 17, P.L. 464, No. 68, § 1, effective in 60 days.
