If any insolvent, as aforesaid, shall, prior to such assignment, have conveyed or transferred any part of his real or personal estate to his wife and children, or either of them, or to any person in trust for them, or either of them, or shall have conveyed or transferred the same to any other person, with intent to defraud his creditors, the trustees aforesaid shall have power to recover and dispose of the same, as fully and effectually, as if the said insolvent had been actually seized or possessed thereof at the time of such assignment.
