When any rent shall be due by such insolvent at the time of his discharge, no goods or chattels upon the premises, in respect to which such rent shall be due, liable to distress, shall be removed or disposed of, without the consent of the landlord, or other person to whom such rent shall be due and payable, until the same, not exceeding one year's rent, be paid, and such landlord, or other person, may proceed by distress, or otherwise, as he might have done before such discharge, to recover the same, not exceeding one year's rent, as aforesaid.
