Section 6024.702 - Enforcement orders(a) Issuance.--The department may issue such orders to persons as it deems necessary to aid in the enforcement of this act. The power of the department to issue an order under this act is in addition to any other remedy which may be afforded to the department under this act or any other act.(b) Compliance.--It shall be the duty of any person to proceed diligently to comply with any order issued under subsection (a). If the person fails to proceed diligently or fails to comply with the order within the time, if any, as may be specified, the person shall be guilty of contempt and shall be punished by the court in an appropriate manner, and, for this purpose, application may be made by the department to the Commonwealth Court, which is hereby granted jurisdiction.1994, Dec. 7, P.L. 797, No. 112, § 702, effective in 60 days.
