Whoever violates the provisions of this act shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof, shall be sentenced to pay a fine of not less than five hundred dollars ($500) nor more than one thousand dollars ($1,000), or to undergo imprisonment for not less than one nor more than two years, or both.
