Section 5701.1108 - Penalties(a) Assessment.--The department may assess an administrative penalty against a hospital which negligently violates a requirement set forth in this chapter.(b) Amount.--The amount of the penalty shall be: (1) not more than $25,000 for a hospital with less than 100 beds; and(2) not more than $50,000 for a hospital with at least 100 beds.(c) Procedure.-- A penalty under this section is subject to 2 Pa.C.S. Chs. 5 Subch. A (relating to practice and procedure of Commonwealth agencies) and 7 Subch.
