Section 297 - Punishment for violations

Any person who shall violate any of the provisions of this act, upon conviction thereof, shall be sentenced to pay a fine of not less than two hundred ($200) dollars, nor more than one thousand ($1,000) dollars, and/or to undergo an imprisonment of not less than three (3) months, nor more than nine (9) months, at the discretion of the court. Aldermen, magistrates and justices of the peace throughout this Commonwealth shall have jurisdiction to hear and determine in a summary proceeding actions arising for violations of this act and to impose the penalties provided herein subject to appeal as the law shall direct.
