Sustainable agriculture loans and grants and alternative crop grants shall be made to the extent that funds are made available. Funding for this act may be obtained as follows:
(1) The Department of Agriculture is authorized to use moneys appropriated to it for agricultural research, agricultural promotion and education, moneys specifically appropriated by the General Assembly for sustainable agriculture and any other moneys, contributions or payments which may be made available to the department by the Federal Government or by any public or private source for the purpose of implementing the provisions of this act.(2) The department is authorized to submit eligible projects to the Department of Commerce for funding from moneys appropriated to the Ben Franklin/IRC Partnership Fund.1994, Dec. 12, P.L. 891, No. 129, § 17, effective in 60 days.
