Section 6901.503 - Issuance and sale of college savings bonds(a) General rule.--In order to provide investors with investment alternatives to enhance their financial access to institutions of higher education, and in furtherance of the public policy of this chapter, a portion of the bonds issued should be designated as college savings bonds. Where feasible, the issuing officials shall follow the recommendation of the agency and designate the issue, in whole or in part, as college savings bonds.(b) Annual recommendation.--The agency shall annually recommend the amount needed to carry out this chapter and shall so notify the issuing officials.1992, April 3, P.L. 28, No. 11, § 503, imd. effective.
