Section 2070.6 - Organization and meetings of the commission(a) The Governor shall annually select a chairman from among the membership of the commission. The chairman, or a commission member designated by the chairman, shall be an ex officio member of the State Board without voting privileges or assignment to either council.(b) Meetings shall be held at least five times per year at the call of the chairman or upon request in writing of a majority of the commission. A majority shall constitute a quorum and a majority of such quorum shall have authority to act upon any matter properly before the commission unless otherwise specified in this act. Meetings of the commission shall be open to the public and the executive director of the commission shall be responsible for seeing that notices of meetings of the commission are properly circulated.Amended by P.L. 1205 2013 No. 120, § 3, eff. 2/16/2014.1973, Dec. 12, P.L. 397, No. 141, § 6, imd. effective.
