Section 11-1109.2 - Conditional employment(a) A board of school directors may enter into an agreement to employ an individual as a temporary professional employe who, within six months of the date of expected graduation from an approved Pennsylvania college or university, presents a letter verifying that the individual is enrolled in an approved teacher preparation program in that institution and will complete all requirements for the conferring of a bachelor's degree on a date certain as specified.(b) The validity of this agreement shall be contingent upon all of the following conditions being met prior to the actual commencement of the individual's employment as a temporary professional employe:(1) The conferring of a bachelor's degree.(2) The individual having obtained a teaching certificate from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in the area of assignment or certification specified in the agreement.1949, March 10, P.L. 30, No. 14, art.
