Section 5774 - Approval of state or federal officers, board or body; change in location
(a) Where the proposed bridge crosses any navigable stream or other public water or the property rights or property or rights of way of any railroad or other public service corporation, and by reason thereof the approval of any State or Federal officer, board or body is required as to the location and construction of such bridge or its approaches, the county shall be deemed to have full and complete authority to construct such bridge in such other location and in such other manner as may be necessary to comply with the conditions prescribed by such officer, board or body in granting such approval if county commissioners be of the opinion, and by resolution duly adopted so decide, that the bridge as thus changed is necessary for the convenience of the traveling public and will accommodate substantially the same traveling public as the bridge would have done if it had been constructed at the location and in the manner originally provided.
