Section 5730 - Rebuilding bridges wholly or partly destroyed
(a) The county commissioners shall rebuild and reconstruct all bridges heretofore built or that may hereafter be erected by the county commissioners, whether constructed under general, special or local laws, whenever any such bridge has been or shall hereafter be blown down, destroyed, partially destroyed or swept away by floods, freshets, ice, storm, fire or other casualty, at the expense of the county.
(b) For the purpose of carrying into effect the provisions of this section, the county commissioners are hereby authorized to borrow any sum of money, in accordance with 53 Pa.C.S. Pt. VII Subpt. B (relating to indebtedness and borrowing).
