Section 5719 - Lighting of county bridges
(a) Whenever considered necessary for the safety and convenience of the traveling public, the county commissioners of the county within which a county bridge is erected, or the county commissioners of two or more counties acting together with regard to any bridge located partly in one county and partly in another county or counties, may supply and equip any county bridge within their respective counties with lights of any kind and character, as they shall deem necessary.
(b) To carry out the provisions of this act, the county commissioners, severaly or jointly, are authorized to contract with any individual or with any municipal or private corporation for the purpose of supplying the necessary light.
(c) The cost of the construction, erection and maintenance of any light placed upon any such bridge shall be paid by the county or by the two or more counties, as may be agreed upon by the county commissioners of said counties.
