Section 8921 - Scope of subchapter(a) General ruleThis subchapter shall apply only to peace officers of any state or political subdivision thereof which by its laws has made similar provision for the arrest and custody of persons closely pursued within the territory thereof.(b) Transmission of subchapterThe Department of State shall certify and deliver a copy of this subchapter to the executive authority of each state.1976, July 9, P.L. 586, No. 142, § 2, effective 6/27/1978.
