Section 5801 - Applicability(a) General rule.--This chapter applies to mental health declarations and mental health powers of attorney.(b) Preservation of existing rights.--The provisions of this chapter shall not be construed to impair or supersede any existing rights or responsibilities not addressed in this chapter.2004, Nov. 30, P.L. 1525, No. 194, §1, effective in 60 days [ 1/31/2005].
