Section 826.001 - DefinitionsAs used in this chapter:
(1) "Combined weight" means the total empty weight of all vehicles in a combination plus the total weight of the load carried on that combination of vehicles.(2) "Commercial vehicle" means a vehicle that:(a) Is used for the transportation of persons for compensation or profit; or(b) Is designed or used primarily for the transportation of property.(3) "Department" means the Department of Transportation.
