Section 807.540 - Failure to surrender prior license; penalty(1) A person commits the offense of failing to surrender a prior license if the person accepts a license or driver permit issued by the Department of Transportation to that person without first surrendering all out-of-state licenses or driver permits issued to that person.(2) The offense described in this section, failure to surrender a prior license, is a Class D traffic violation. 1983 c.338 §334; 1985 c.16 §154; 1985 c.597 §21; 1995 c.383 §9
