Section 807.510 - Transfer of documents for purposes of misrepresentation; penalty(1) A person commits the offense of transfer of documents for the purposes of misrepresentation if the person: (a) Manufactures, produces, sells, offers for sale or transfers to another person any document purporting to be a certified copy of a record of a live birth, certificate of baptism, driver license or any other document designated by the Department of Transportation by rule as acceptable for establishing age or identity; and(b) Knows or has reason to know that the document may be used to represent a person as another person in obtaining documents issued by a government agency to grant driving privileges or for identification purposes.(2) The offense described in this section, transfer of documents for purposes of misrepresentation, is a Class A misdemeanor.Amended by 2013 Ch. 366,§ 84, eff. 6/13/2013, op. 1/1/2014.1983 c.338 §331; 1985 c.597 §20; 1993 c.393 §4
