Section 468.062 - Authority of Department of Environmental Quality to require fingerprints For the purpose of requesting a state or nationwide criminal records check under ORS 181A.195, the Department of Environmental Quality may require the fingerprints of a person who:
(1) Is employed or applying for employment by the department in the department's laboratory and is expected to be involved with the receipt, handling or analysis of samples that are associated with a credible terrorist threat and that might contain chemical agents;(2) Provides services or seeks to provide services to the department's laboratory as a contractor and is expected to be involved with the receipt, handling or analysis of samples that are associated with a credible terrorist threat and that might contain chemical agents;(3) Is employed or applying for employment by the department in a position involved with the issuance, review or administration of permits for the treatment, disposal or storage of chemical warfare agents; or(4) Provides services or seeks to provide services to the department as a contractor involved with the issuance, review or administration of permits for the treatment, disposal or storage of chemical warfare agents.468.062 was enacted into law by the Legislative Assembly but was not added to or made a part of ORS chapter 468 or any series therein by legislative action.
